Local Aging and Disability Action Plan
City of La Puente
Global is proud to partner with the City of La Puente in developing the
Local Aging and Disability Action Plan (LADAP), supported by a $200,000 grant from the California Department of Aging. This initiative is designed to address
the unique needs of aging and disabled residents, ensuring they have access to
essential services and resources. We oversee every component of this initiative—from planning and
stakeholder engagement to compliance and project execution. Our structured approach integrates public health principles and strategic planning
methodologies to ensure local needs align with state priorities.
Recognizing the importance of reaching underserved populations, we designed and
executed a robust outreach strategy that included multilingual assessment tools,
custom promotional materials, and direct engagement with city leaders and elected
officials. Through targeted social media campaigns and partnerships with key
stakeholders, we successfully expanded community participation and secured broad-based
support for the initiative.
The resulting action plan will address critical issues such as housing, transportation,
financial security, and access to wellness resources. Our team manages each phase
of the project with strict adherence to compliance standards, ensuring that the
plan is executed efficiently and meets La Puente’s goals for creating a more
inclusive and age-friendly community. Through effective oversight, detailed reporting,
and ongoing coordination, we deliver results that promote equity, accessibility,
and long-term sustainability.
