The RAISE Grant Program provides federal funding for transportation projects that enhance safety, environmental sustainability, and quality of life. Global prepared an application for HACLA to improve the Wilmington Avenue Corridor, encompassing plans for the Rainbow Bridge replacement, Vision Zero strategies, and enhancements such ats intersection improvements, traffic calming, sidewalks, public art, and wayfinding signage. This project promotes active transportation and inspires a healthier, more connected community with improved access to community assets like the Watts Cultural Trail. Guided by feedback from local organizations, we developed a data-driven narrative, conducted a detailed benefit-cost analysis, and formulated an itemized budget, successfully securing funding for this vital initiative.
